Digging deeper into the flu remedies, part 1: Aches, Cough & Fever
Jumping off from "When you have to get up" post…
I have been on a flu remedy posting roll (see: When you have to get up, Ammonium carb, and For the Birds), so I’m going to keep it going. In When you have to get up, I touched on some major flu symptoms and listed a handful of easily found, common homeopathic remedies. This deeper dive mirrors that post and gives a brief overview of each of those flu remedies, followed by a short list of remedies for most of the previously highlighted symptoms. (It sounds more complicated than it is. It’s really a place to turn if the previously indicated remedy did not do the trick.)
For this, I will turn (mostly) to the trusted Robin Murphy’s Repertory and link them to a few more alternative choices of homeopathic remedies, (again, keeping the suggestions to the (generally speaking) easily sourced remedies “good” flu remedies).
Bold-type are the highest indicated remedies in the group.
Most of these symptoms list many more remedies than I have provided — remember, this document is focusing on easily accessible “good” flu remedies.
Due to the size of this document, I will break it into two separate pieces, listed alphabetically.
Part 1:
Aches
Cough
Fever
Part 2:
Gastro-Intestinal
Headache
Nose
Throat
