Thank you for explaining the conundrum of "mixing" remedies." I had always read that it may 'confuse' one's system but I guess if it works for some, don't knock it.

"I have clients who have been "fired" ....... Yes, I've had this experience twice, where the practitioner didn't like my input. On both occasions I felt their prescribed remedy was a million miles from reflecting my actual condition but I went on to take the remedies anyway - just in case - and neither had any detectable beneficial effect, over a period of months.

N.B. I have been studying homeopathy for over 50 years though not credentialled and have successfully treated a number of conditions.

Yes, some believe "mixing" remedies does confuse the system. I have to say, I haven't seen that to be the case, but then, thinking further -- what other things can confuse the system? Can over-the-counter meds confuse the system? Can prescription meds confuse the system? Can a cup of coffee or an after dinner mint confuse the system? Can jet lag confuse the system? Can a tooth infection confuse the system? Can dental work confuse the system? Can an argument with your loved one confuse the system? There are so many possibilities that can interfere with the vital force… I have yet to see combination remedies cause a problem or even appear to cause a problem.

I am sorry you have had the "firing" experience and I hope you were able to find a homeopath who will work with you and listen to you.

50 years!! Wowee! It is truly something that can be studied forever - always new things to learn - I love it!

Love your commentary because it's been confusing for me as well throughout the years, having followed Joette and wondered about the different approach. Thank you for some more clarification. Eve
